The problem of cyber-crime drew participants to the first Missouri summit about online child exploitation.

More than 100 child protection advocates, prosecutors, and internet service providers met in Jefferson City Thursday to share their knowledge at the cyber crimes summit.

“Quick responses to child abduction and tough criminal laws are not enough to protect children in the internet age,” said Any Anderson with the Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force.
